I am a life-long resident of Methuen, MA. I am an acrylic landscape painter whose themes include the New England landscape and everyday life in which my mother (Mom at Sink) and late father (Carmine on the Accordion) often appear as subjects. Since my art college days, I have been painting in black and white acrylic because the image is more powerful without color distracting the viewer.

My skills and love of photography help me take reference photos from which to compose my paintings. A subject must mean something for me to paint it. Among my favorites are old mills, classic cars, historical buildings, farms, and lighthouses.

I am a graduate of Massachusetts College of Art and have a BFA in Illustration, and AAS from Chamberlayne Junior College.

My memberships include Andovers Artists Guild, Reading Art Association and Lynn Arts.

Two of my paintings of historic Methuen are in Methuen’s Enterprise Bank’s permanent collection.
